Business Development Manager – RTO / VET

AdvancED Education & Training (RTO 41332) is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with experience in the VET, RTO, education, corporate training or related sectors to develop new business opportunities and build strong industry partnerships.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Queensland
n
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, businesses, education partners, community organisations and industry stakeholders
n
- Develop and manage partnerships with education agents and referral partners
n
- Promote training programs and services to prospective students and businesses
n
- Generate, manage and follow up leads and enquiries
n
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed business development targets
n
- Identify corporate, employer-based and commercial training opportunities
n
- Identify opportunities within government-funded training programs
n
- Attend networking events, industry meetings, expos and promotional activities
n
- Prepare proposals, quotations and business development reports
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management or partnerships
n
- Experience within an RTO, VET, education or training environment will be highly regarded
n
- Strong ability to generate leads and convert opportunities
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
n
- Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
n
- Skilled and confident when dealing with employers, students, agents and industry stakeholders
n




- Valuable understanding of the Queensland VET and training environment
n
- Existing industry networks across Queensland will be highly regarded
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel when required
n
