We're representing an established Brisbane real estate agency looking to appoint an experienced Team Lead Property Manager to take a key position within its Property Management department.

This opportunity is suited to someone who wants to do more than simply manage a portfolio.

You'll be joining the business as a senior presence within the team, combining hands-on Property Management with team support, mentoring, escalations and day-to-day leadership.
n
The business is looking for someone who can help create structure, maintain high standards and become a trusted point of contact for the wider Property Management team.
n
The Opportunity
n
You'll work closely with senior management while taking responsibility for both your own portfolio and the performance and development of the team around you.
n
Your role will include:
n

- Providing day-to-day leadership to the Property Management team
n
- Mentoring and supporting Property Managers and junior staff
n
- Acting as a senior escalation point for landlords, tenants and complex matters
n
- Helping allocate workloads and maintain portfolio standards
n
- Supporting team members with difficult Property Management situations
n
- Driving accountability and consistency across the department
n
- Identifying areas where systems and processes can be improved
n
- Supporting the onboarding and development of new team members
n
- Maintaining strong relationships with key clients
n
- Managing your own residential portfolio
n
- Working alongside senior management on the continued development of the department
n
n

About You
n
We're looking for an experienced Property Management professional who naturally takes ownership and enjoys helping others perform at their best.
n
You may already be working as a Team Leader, Senior Property Manager, 2IC or Department Manager, or you may be an experienced Property Manager who is already performing leadership responsibilities without the formal title.
n

- Robust residential Property Management experience
n
- Previous mentoring or leadership exposure
n
- Confidence managing an end-to-end portfolio
n
- Current Queensland real estate registration
n
- Strong understanding of Queensland tenancy legislation
n
- Experience handling escalated landlord and tenant matters
n
- Strong communication and people-management skills
n
- Confidence making decisions independently
n
- The ability to coach, mentor and hold people accountable
n
- A proactive approach to improving processes and team performance
n
n
