About the Role Chandler Macleod is currently seeking reliable and hardworking

Process Workers with counterbalance forklift experience

to join a busy pet food production facility in Laverton North.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for

ongoing Monday to Friday work , with the opportunity to upskill and take on forklift duties.

You will initially work as a

Process Worker , completing site training and working towards being signed off on the site's forklift requirements. Once signed off, you will perform a combination of process work and

counterbalance forklift duties .

Please note, this is a

pet food production environment

and has a strong odour. You must be comfortable working around pet food products and in a smelly environment on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

Process and production work within a pet food manufacturing environment

Packing, sorting and general production line duties

Manual handling and repetitive tasks

Operating a counterbalance forklift once trained and signed off

Moving pallets, raw materials and finished products

Working across fresh, chilled and frozen areas

Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures

Maintaining a clean and tidy work area

What We're Looking For

Current LF forklift licence – mandatory





Previous counterbalance forklift experience – mandatory

Available to work

Monday to Friday from 5:00am

Comfortable working in a strong odour / pet food environment

Comfortable working in cold and frozen areas

Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling tasks

Reliable, punctual and committed to workplace safety

Willing to undertake process work while completing forklift training and site sign-off

Experience That Will Be Highly Regarded

Food manufacturing or production experience

Pet food, meat, abattoir or frozen food experience

Warehouse experience

Palletising and scanning experience
