Join Our Friendly Family-Owned Dental Practice Graceful Dental is a busy, modern family-owned dental practice in Surrey Hills, and we're looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our team.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who would like to develop both their clinical and administrative skills. The role will initially involve dental assisting, with training and progression into reception duties, making it ideal for someone seeking a varied and rewarding career within a supportive practice.

About the Role You will work closely with our dentists and team to provide exceptional patient care and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Responsibilities include:





Chairside assisting during a range of dental procedures

Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms

Maintaining infection control standards

Supporting patient comfort and care

Managing appointments and patient enquiries

Reception and administrative duties, including phone calls, scheduling, and patient records

Assisting with the overall coordination of the practice

What We're Looking For

Previous dental assisting experience preferred (private practice experience highly regarded)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Friendly, professional, and compassionate manner

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a busy environment

A positive team player seeking a long-term role
