Our dedicated and experienced team provide professional care to cats and dogs along with a pet adoption service. Cannington will provide you with valuable experience in all facets of a small companion veterinary practice, backed by a supportive, friendly team.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting prospect for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a LOCUM/casual basis.

Required shifts

- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays – 8am - 6pm
- Fortnightly Saturdays – 9am - 2pm

Responsibilities

- Providing support to our veterinarians in all aspects of vet nursing
- Provision of high standard patient and customer care




- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Assisting with reception and administration tasks as required

To be successful for this position, you will have

- Certificate IV qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Previous experience as a Vet Nurse, with knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures would prove beneficial.
- An ability to work well in a team and genuinely support the team Initiative and good time management skills.
