APG Workforce is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Hatchery Assistants / Farmhands to join a busy poultry hatchery in Marsden Park.

The Role

This is a hands-on position assisting with general hatchery, farm and facility maintenance duties. You will work around eggs and poultry while helping maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment.

Duties include:

- Cleaning and maintaining the facility
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas
- Yard and lawn maintenance
- Moving trolleys loaded with eggs
- Stacking boxes of chickens
- Handling eggs and poultry products
- Assisting with general hatchery and farm duties
- Repetitive manual handling and physically demanding tasks
- Following strict hygiene, safety and biosecurity procedures

What We’re Looking For

- Previous farm, hatchery, poultry, cleaning or labouring experience is an advantage




- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Comfortable with yard and lawn maintenance
- Reliable and willing to work in a quick-paced environment
- Comfortable working around poultry
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Own car and current driver’s licence required
- Must meet strict biosecurity requirements
