Location: Wingfield, SA We are a family operated business and are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HC Truck Driver to join our team based in Wingfield. This is a local role involving semi tipper work, transporting materials between various sites across the local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HC trucks in accordance with all road and workplace safety requirements
- Transport a range of materials, equipment and waste between sites
- Safely load, unload and secure materials as required
- Complete daily vehicle pre-start and safety checks
- Maintain the truck in a clean, safe and presentable condition
- Complete all required delivery, waste and vehicle documentation
- Follow site-specific safety procedures, SWMS and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, site crews and other team members
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and professionally
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current HC driver's licence
- White card
- Proven experience operating HC trucks,
preferably end tippers
- Road Ranger gearbox experience
- A good driving history
- Bobcat and excavator experience is an advantage
- Previous experience in earthworks, demolition or civil construction is highly regarded
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Valuable communication skills
- The ability to follow instructions and comply with site safety requirements
