Lice Technician The Lice Lady | Northern Beaches, Sydney

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and caring Lice Technician to join The Lice Lady team.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help families get rid of head lice through professional, thorough and chemical-free lice treatments. You’ll primarily be working with children and their parents, so someone who naturally enjoys working with kids and making families feel comfortable is a great fit.

You don’t need previous lice-treatment experience — full training will be provided. We’re much more interested in finding someone who is patient, personable, fun and genuinely enjoys helping people.

What you’ll be doing

- Providing professional head lice checks and treatments in clients’ homes
- Working closely with children of different ages and personalities
- Carefully removing lice and nits using professional techniques and equipment
- Educating parents about lice, prevention and follow-up care
- Creating a calm, reassuring and positive experience for families
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism
- Travelling to clients throughout the Northern Beaches and surrounding areas
- Communicating with clients and managing appointments professionally
- Representing The Lice Lady brand and delivering the high level of service our clients expect

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Great with children and naturally patient and reassuring
- Friendly, warm and confident communicating with parents
- Extremely thorough and detail-oriented




- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable using their hands and working with hair
- Happy to learn a specialised skill
- Organised and able to manage appointments independently
- Comfortable travelling between client appointments
- Available for flexible hours, including some afternoons, evenings and weekends
- Previous experience with children, childcare, hairdressing, beauty, healthcare or customer service is helpful but not essential
