About The Role

Join Armidale Hospital as a Health and Security Assistant, supporting the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff while contributing to the delivery of quality patient care.

Your day will begin with security patrols, followed by working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff throughout your shift to provide assistance as required. You’ll also be a welcoming and visible presence within the hospital, assisting visitors and supporting the community when they attend the facility.

You’ll receive ongoing training and support from a range of clinical and non-clinical staff, with opportunities to upskill as they arise.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Honest, hardworking and able to work independently.

- A robust communicator with the ability to work effectively with others.

- Empathetic and committed to supporting patients.

- Willing to work within a large and complex organisation.

Requirements

- Hold current NSW CLASS 1A Security Licence and First Aid Certificate
