About the role

Umagico is a small, close-knit Indigenous community on the western coast of Cape York Peninsula, just minutes from Bamaga and surrounded by stunning coastal landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Offering a relaxed lifestyle, strong community connections, and easy access to some of Australia's most spectacular fishing and outdoor adventures, Umagico provides a unique and rewarding remote living experience.

Provide culturally responsive clinical care and care coordination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, supporting improved access to health services and positive health outcomes. Working within a primary health care framework, you will build strong relationships with communities, collaborate with healthcare teams, and use your specialist knowledge to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Identified Role: Under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
