Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist Urologist to join a progressive public health service serving communities across the Tweed, Richmond and Clarence Valleys.

n

This is an opportunity to provide contemporary, comprehensive urological care within a well-established regional health network, while contributing to clinical leadership, education, quality improvement and the ongoing development of specialist services.

n

The Opportunity The successful candidate will provide high-quality specialist Urology services at the primary facility and other facilities across the network, where required, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate specialist care.

n

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based clinical services and support the broader objectives of the health service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide contemporary and comprehensive Specialist Urology services.
n
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients across the full scope of your specialist practice.
n
- Provide specialist consultation and clinical management at the primary facility and other network facilities where appropriate.
n
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals.
n
- Provide clinical leadership within the Urology service.
n
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
n
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.
n
- Provide training, supervision and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.
n
- Support safe, high-quality and patient-centred clinical practice.
n
- Contribute to the development of a skilled and sustainable medical workforce.

About You

n

You will be an experienced Specialist Urologist with:

n

n
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology, or equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
n
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for specialist registration.
n
- Appropriate specialist experience in Urology.
n
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
n
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Interest in clinical leadership, teaching and supervision.
n
- Commitment to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety.
n

International Medical Graduates and Specialist International Medical Graduates with appropriate qualifications and eligibility for specialist registration in Australia are encouraged to enquire.
