Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a

Housekeeping Assistant to join our skilled and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

About Us Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program, bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Our company goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to enable our hotel to be a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves and have a break from normal life. To feel like royalty in a unique place with unique people.

£12.71per hour

20 hours per week - 11am - 2:30pm .

5 days a week, including weekend work

Ensuring all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing and dusting





Ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming and polishing

Restocking guest room supplies, including linen, amenities and collaterals

Engaging with guests where required

Reporting any maintenance issues to Housekeeping manager

Cleaning rooms can be very physically demanding but you will receive full training and be surrounded by a supportive team

An additional share of the service charge and tips every month

28-days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata)

An additional paid day off on your birthday

Complimentary stay at the castle after 3 monthsprobation period successfully passed
