The Opportunity

We're seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our compassionate team at our Ipswich Community Vet Clinic on a part time basis (2 or 3 shifts per week). This role offers a diverse and rewarding caseload with genuine work-life balance, Monday to Friday shifts only, with no weekend work and no on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality veterinary care and ensure the well-being of all patients.
n
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
n




- Communicate effectively with clients to provide education, advice, and support.
n
- Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff to achieve the best outcomes.
n
- Uphold AWLQ's commitment to keeping pets and people together, ensuring that animals receive the care they need regardless of their owner's financial situation.

Essential Skills and Attributes

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science and current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.
n
- Strong clinical and surgical skills with a compassionate approach to animal care.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
n
- Ability to manage diverse cases and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Flexibility and reliability to work on a casual basis, Monday to Friday.
n
