HEAD OF COCURRICULAR AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join Perth College in the newly created role of Head of Cocurricular and Experiential Learning (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12).

n

This is a two-year fixed-term, full time position, with an immediate start available for the successful candidate. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required, including attendance at School events, camps, tours, meetings and functions outside normal working hours, which may include occasional evenings and weekends.

n

This pivotal leadership position will be responsible for the strategic development, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of cocurricular and experiential learning opportunities across the School, including service learning, tours, camps and other student experiences beyond the classroom.

About you:

n

You are an experienced and inspiring leader who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for young people beyond the classroom. You bring the vision and strategic capability to lead engaging cocurricular and experiential programs that support student growth, wellbeing, confidence and leadership.

n

- A tertiary qualification in Education, Sport and Recreation, Experiential Learning, Management, or a related field (essential).
n
- A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one.
n
- A National Police Clearance issued within the last six months, or the ability to obtain one.
n
- An MR-B Driver's Licence and Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) Authorisation (desirable).
n
- A teaching qualification (highly regarded).
n
- Experience developing,



managing and monitoring budgets across multiple programs and initiatives.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing cocurricular, experiential learning, service learning, camps, tours or similar programs.
n
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate ideas and objectives into engaging, well-coordinated programs.
n
- A strong understanding of risk management, child safety, student wellbeing and duty of care.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, families and external providers.
