n An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Day Shift Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business in Brisbane.

n

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone with experience in steel, manufacturing, fabrication or a similar industrial environment, who enjoys leading a team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the workshop and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Supervising and supporting a production team
n
- Coordinating daily workflow and allocating tasks
n
- Monitoring productivity, quality and output
n
- Ensuring safe work practices and procedures are followed
n
- Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents and operational issues
n
- Providing hands-on support across manufacturing operations
n
- Coordinating materials and workflow throughout the facility
n
- Supporting loading, dispatch and material preparation
n
- Operating and overseeing relevant production equipment
n
- Assisting with equipment checks and basic maintenance
n




- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
n
- Working closely with management to resolve operational issues
n
- Supporting a positive, accountable and safety-focused team culture
n

About You

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience in steel, manufacturing, fabrication, warehousing or a similar industrial environment
n
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Leading Hand or Team Leader
n
- Strong understanding of production and workshop operations
n
- Experience working around heavy materials and industrial equipment
n
- Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Good mechanical aptitude
n
- Strong communication and leadership skills
n
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
n
- The ability to motivate and manage a production team
n
- A proactive approach and strong work ethic
n
