We are looking for a reliable, professional and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our hotel team. As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel during the overnight shift, providing excellent guest service, completing the nightly audit and ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the property. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail and is comfortable working overnight.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the daily/nightly hotel audit and reconcile financial transactions.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs during the night.
- Handle guest enquiries and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage late arrivals, early departures and overnight bookings.
- Monitor the hotel and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents.
- Complete end-of-day reports and administrative tasks.
- Balance cash, credit card and other payment transactions.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate important information to the day team.
- Ensure hotel standards and procedures are followed throughout the night.
About you
- Has previous hotel, front office or night audit experience (preferred but not essential).
- Is reliable, responsible and punctual.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is confident working independently with minimal supervision.
- Has strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
- Can remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations.
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable learning hotel systems.
- Is available to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Has a professional presentation and a positive attitude.
