We are currently seeking an experienced HR Administration Officer to join a busy People Team for an initial 8-week project.
This is a hands-on administration role supporting a focused HR initiative involving employee records, data cleansing and moving information into a new SharePoint structure.
The role would suit someone who enjoys detailed, process-driven work and is comfortable working through a high volume of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Review, update and cleanse employee records and HR data
- Assist with transferring information from a network drive into a new SharePoint structure
- Check information for accuracy and consistency
- Complete high-volume, repetitive HR administration efficiently and accurately
- Assist with improving existing processes and reducing manual administration
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information
- Provide general administrative support to the People Team as required
About You
You will have previous experience in HR administration and be confident working with employee information and data.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with high volumes of information and repetitive tasks
- Accurate and efficient, with the ability to work at pace
- Confident using systems and databases
- Comfortable handling confidential employee information
- Able to work independently and contribute positively within a busy People Team
Previous experience with SharePoint or HR systems would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
Previous government experience is not required - strong corporate HR administration experience will be considered.

Our client is a well-established Victorian organisation with a large and diverse workforce. You'll join a cooperative People Team and play a hands-on role in a short-term project focused on improving the way HR information and employee records are managed.
