We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Housing Access Support Worker to join our Homelessness Support team. About the Role

As the Housing Access Support Worker, you will:

- Provide a responsive, integrated and comprehensive case management services to clients.
- Link clients to identified support services required to achieve agreed outcomes, including health services, education and training opportunities, counselling services, etc.
- Become familiar with appropriate government department guidelines, and eligibility requirements of programs.
- Ensure that service users are treated in accordance with social justice principles, and that decisions and actions by workers are at all times ethical and in the best interests of people using the service.
- Develop and maintain team-oriented, effective and integrated working relationships with other service providers and provide advocacy where required.

This role can involve emotionally demanding situations and exposure to psychological hazards, including client distress, trauma disclosures, and urgent responses. MASP prioritises staff wellbeing by providing supervision, debriefing, reflective practice, safety measures, and access to wellbeing resources. We encourage open communication—raise any concerns with your supervisor, management, or the OHS Committee as soon as possible.

Remuneration

Expected commencing salary of $82,415.00 per annum (Diploma qualified) plus statutory superannuation.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum Diploma qualification in relevant field (suitable candidates who are currently studying will be considered and remunerated accordingly)
- Demonstrated experience working with young people, single adults and/or families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness
- Ability to engage clients with complex needs and from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to MASP's values and client-centred approach
