About the role

Key responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules.

- Safely transport and deliver various goods and materials to designated locations.

- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road.

- Position vehicles accurately for the efficient loading and unloading of materials.

- Utilize hoisting and tipping equipment to load and unload construction materials safely.

- Maintain accurate logbooks of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.





- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any mechanical issues.

- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and minimize delays.

- Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly.

- Perform routine maintenance of the truck, including refueling and cleaning.

About you

- Heavy Truck Driver Licence required

- Relevant Australian Qualification and/or licencing order.

- Proven 1 year experience as truck driver.

- Robust understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
