We are seeking a talented and business-minded HSEQ Officer based in Sydney, Australia to join our global Health & Safety team. This role will serve as the primary HSEQ resource for Australia and New Zealand, and will partner closely with business leaders and Human Resources to support the organization's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate is an experienced HSEQ professional who combines technical expertise with practical business judgment. This individual will lead and coordinate WHS compliance and facilities support across Teletrac Navman’s Australian operations, provide remote WHS support to New Zealand and support applicable ISO certification audits. The individual will also support office operations for the Sydney and Melbourne offices.

The HSEQ Officer will report directly to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer. This role will be based in our Macquarie Park Office

What You Will Own

HSEQ Oversight

- Lead WHS risk management across Australian operations, including physical and psychosocial (in partnership with People & Culture) hazards, and provide remote support to New Zealand
- Maintain WHS records and registers, and coordinate incident reporting,



investigations, corrective actions and regulator notifications
- Coordinate worker consultation with respect to HSEQ matters, health and safety representatives and committee processes where required, and advise the business on WHS procedures
- Coordinate WHS inductions, role-appropriate training, first aid arrangements and emergency preparedness for Australian and New Zealand offices

ISO Audits and Certifications

- Support applicable ISO audits and certification activities, including coordination with external auditors and consultants and other Teletrac Navman HSEQ resources around the globe

Office Operations

- Lead office operations for the Sydney office and support other Australian sites as needed, managing office supplies, contractors and building-management relationships

What We’re Looking For

Experience

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS laws; New Zealand experience preferred
- 5+ years’ relevant HSEQ experience in a corporate or multi-site environment
- Experience leading ISO 45001 audits; experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
