Qualifications & Experience

Essential

- Current (or eligible) AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist/OHT
- Recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene
- Demonstrated experience providing preventive and periodontal care
- Current radiation licence (as applicable by state/territory)

Desirable

- Experience in private practice or multidisciplinary environments
- Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W) or similar practice software
- Additional training in advanced periodontal or preventive programs

Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical knowledge within the hygiene scope of practice
- Excellent communication and patient-engagement skills
- Ability to motivate and empower patients toward improved oral health
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Confident computer literacy
