Our team in Bowen Hills is growing, and we’re looking for an Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP). If you’re someone who enjoys solving complex environmental problems, values scientific accuracy, and wants to be part of a supportive team that drives real change, this role is for you.

About the Role

As an IEP at HazSure, you’ll assess, diagnose, and help manage a wide range of indoor environmental concerns across commercial, industrial, and government settings. You’ll investigate issues such as mould, water ingress, indoor air quality, HVAC systems, and other exposures — providing clear, practical guidance that helps clients make informed decisions.

You’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary team of occupational hygienists, licensed assessors, laboratory personnel, and consultants to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that genuinely improve indoor environments.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct onsite assessments including visual inspections, moisture mapping, sampling, and verification assessments.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports outlining findings, risk levels, and recommended actions.
- Interpret laboratory results and integrate data into comprehensive assessments.
- Provide practical advice to clients, contractors,



and stakeholders on remediation and management strategies.
- Collaborate with HazSure’s team to deliver high‑quality, scientifically driven outcomes.
- Stay current with relevant standards, regulations, and emerging environmental health issues.
- Communicate technical information in a way that’s accessible and meaningful to diverse audiences.

What You Bring

- Qualifications in environmental science, building science, occupational hygiene, or a related field.
- Experience in indoor environmental assessment, mould investigation, air quality testing, or building diagnostics is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with standards such as IICRC S500/S520, AS/NZS guidelines, and occupational hygiene principles.
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Professional integrity and a genuine commitment to health, safety, and client care.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to continually learn.
