MyLink is growing! We are looking for compassionate, energetic and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our expanding team across the Gold Coast.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide person-centred support, including personal care, hygiene, grooming, hoist use and catheter care where required.
n
- Assist with daily living and household activities.
n
- Support clients to access the community, attend appointments and work towards their NDIS goals.
n
- Provide respectful emotional and practical support to clients
n
- Administer medication where appropriately trained and authorised.
n
- Build positive, skilled and trusting relationships with clients.
n
- Complete accurate case notes and reports using online systems such as ShiftCare.
n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Ageing), or higher,



mental health qualification or a relevant qualification is highly regarded. Applicants with demonstrated disability-support experience and the skills and competencies appropriate to the role are also encouraged to apply.
n
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or evidence that an application is in progress.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
- Current Queensland P2 or Open Driver Licence.
n
- Access to a reliable, registered and appropriately insured vehicle suitable for client transport. Smartphone with reliable internet access.
