RMK Precast is seeking a motivated Design Coordinator with high attention to detail to assist and deliver with various construction projects and ongoing professional relationships.

About the Role

n

RMK Precast have a position available for a Design Coordinator to join our team based in Unanderra. The Design Co-Ordinator will be overseeing the integration of design and cost planning functions throughout the pre-manufacture and delivery phases of projects.

Day to Day responsibilities

n

n
- Implement documentation reviews, collation, document control and management
n
- Assist with the management and co-ordination of Consultants and Sub-contractors, project wide including implementing requested requirements into the project.
n
- Assist the team with production of all Design Registers, Reports, Schedules
n
- Assist team with project design stage deliverable submissions, in accordance with Consultant Design Drawings
n
- Manage and assist with Sub contractors design and shop drawing production
n
- Assist in the coordination of the design process and ensure compliance with budget, programmes, Approvals, Building Code of Australia (BCA)/ and other legislative requirements and clients' requirement
n
- Liaise in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders during the course of the project

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in Precast Manufacturing, Consultant or Client side Design Coordinator experience and possess the below:

n

n
- Self-driven with ability to manage multiple projects at various stages and with extensive design teams and stakeholders
n
- Have a competent and developing level of planning, organization, and delegation ability
n
- Demonstrate creative problem solving and decision-making ability
n
- Have a good level understanding of design practices
n
- Have solid communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
n
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Design or Construction and proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry
n
