We are currently seeking reliable and hands-on Production Operators/ Assemblers to join a busy manufacturing and production environment based in Seven Hills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent full-time hours while employed on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3-6 months based on performance, reliability and business requirements.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for the cutting, preparation and assembly of blinds and shutters, ensuring finished products meet required measurements, specifications and quality standards.

n

Day-to-Day Duties

n

n
- Measure and cut blinds, shutters and related materials to required specifications.
n
- Operate cutting machines and production equipment safely and accurately.
n
- Assemble blinds and shutters according to job specifications and measurements.
n
- Fit components including brackets, rails, tracks, cords and operating mechanisms.
n
- Use hand and power tools to complete assembly and finishing tasks.
n
- Trim, adjust and modify products to ensure an accurate fit.
n
- Check measurements and finished products for quality and accuracy.
n
- Follow production plans, work orders and customer specifications.
n
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
n
- Package completed blinds and shutters ready for dispatch.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.

- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
n
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About You

- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance.
n
- Hands-on and comfortable working with tools and machinery.
n
- Experienced in assembly, manufacturing, production or similar environments.
n
- Able to accurately measure and cut materials.
n
- Physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks.
n
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
n
- Have strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
n
- Able to follow instructions, measurements and production specifications.
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
n
- Available to commit to full-time hours on a casual basis.
n
- Previous experience with blinds, shutters, window furnishings, carpentry, furniture assembly, manufacturing or similar hands-on work will be highly regarded.
