Community Registered Nurse – Full Time | Ipswich & Lockyer Valley

About the role

n

You'll work autonomously across Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley, with a fully maintained company car, laptop and phone. You drive out to your clients, make the clinical calls, and see the same people improve over months and years. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role with no night shift, no 12-hour rotating roster, and no being called back in on your day off.

Key responsibilities

n

Complete initial and ongoing clinical assessments in clients' homes, and write the care plans that follow from them

n

Deliver hands-on nursing - wound care, catheter care, medication management, continence, diabetes support and palliative care

n

Make clinical judgement calls on your own in the community, and know when to escape

n

Supervise, upskill and support our care staff so the clinical standard holds across every shift

n

Work with families, GPs, allied health and hospital discharge teams to keep clients safely at home

n

Keep clear, audit-ready documentation aligned to the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards

About you

n





AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, current and unrestricted

n

Work well within our care team and independently

n

Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, with genuine experience working independently — community, district or home nursing is strongly preferred over facility or ward-only backgrounds

n

Sound, confident clinical judgement without a colleague down the hall

n

Working knowledge of aged care (Support at Home / home care packages) and the NDIS — funding, care planning and compliance, not just clinical care

n

Full Australian working rights — no sponsorship available

n

You live in, or are relocating at your own arrangement to, the Ipswich / Lockyer Valley / Greater Brisbane area

n

Full Australian driver's licence

n

Current or willing to obtain: National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR

n

$85,000 – $95,000 base + superannuation, depending on experience

n

Fully maintained company vehicle - including running costs and fuel

n

Laptop and mobile phone provided

Monday to Friday with no night shift or rotating roster
