Daleys Auto, Marine and Upholstery is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative - Automotive, Marine & Upholstery Supplies to join our team in Villawood, NSW. This is a full-time position based at our Villawood NSW 2163 location. In this role, you will be the driving force behind generating sales revenue and building strong customer relationships across our diverse product range. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and product knowledge. This position is strategically important to our company's growth objectives and will have a direct impact on our market presence and profitability.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and prospect potential customers within the automotive, marine and upholstery sectors to generate new business opportunities
- Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business through regular communication and relationship building
- Present and demonstrate products and services to clients, highlighting features, benefits and value propositions tailored to their specific needs
- Prepare and deliver quotations and sales proposals in a timely and professional manner
- Negotiate terms and pricing to close sales whilst maintaining healthy profit margins
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline opportunities using company systems
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment




- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends and competitor activities within the automotive, marine and upholstery industries
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators on a consistent basis
- Provide feedback to management regarding market demands, customer requirements and potential product or service improvements

What we're looking for

- Proven track record of success in a sales representative or sales consultant role, preferably within automotive, marine, upholstery or related industries
- Strong knowledge of automotive and marine products, supplies, and upholstery materials is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and present solutions that address those needs effectively
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within NSW for customer visits and account management




- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Professional approach to customer service with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Previous experience in B2B sales or working with trade customers is advantageous
