Position Overview:

The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for carrying out weighbridge and administrative duties while also performing general office tasks. This role provides essential support to management and administrative staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the weighbridge and associated systems.

This a full time position, working Monday to Friday with weekend overtime as required.

Main responsibilities include:

Operate a computerised weighbridge and record all vehicles entering and exiting the site

Maintenance of the weighbridge and associated areas





Interaction with drivers entering the site

Record all information of vehicles to and from the site and completing regulatory paperwork as required

Abide by all company policies, procedures and processes

Liaising with operations staff

Some office and housekeeping duties

The successful candidate will:

Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task

Be an all-rounder with focus on teamwork

Computer literacy skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Judgement and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

A Current White Card (or willing to obtain)

A flexible and proactive attitude

Previous Weighbridge experience – on the job training will be available for the successful applicant if required.
