The Psych Haus is seeking a compassionate and dedicated psychologist (including provisional psychologist) to join our team on a 1-2 days per week basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with individuals of all ages (young children through to adulthood), couples, and families, delivering meaningful and outcome-driven therapy.
Key responsibilities
- Work with a range of clients, from young children to adults, as well as couples and families
- Provide comprehensive assessments for developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder and ADHD
- Conduct cognitive assessments including intelligence, memory, and learning difficulties testing
- Perform academic testing and emotional and behavioural assessments
- Conduct NDIS assessments and diagnosis for various mental disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapies tailored to client needs
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including paediatricians, social workers,
psychoanalysts, occupational therapists, and speech therapists
About you
- Registered or Provisional Psychologist with AHPRA
- Warm, client-focused, and skilled in evidence-based therapies
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
