Maintenance Technician (Fitter) - Night Shift

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Mechanicial Fitter with relevant skills, knowledge and experience in industrial electrical work within a manufacturing workplace.

- Night Shift: 10.30pm to 06.30am / Sunday to Thursday
n
- Position: Full Time / Permanent role
n
- Hourly Pay Rate: $55.48 + $12.48 (Shift Allowance)
n
- Weekly Tool Allowance: $30.79 + Benefits
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform minor installations and commissioning work as required
n
- Perform trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment
n
- Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner within PepsiCo Safety and Environmental management systems
n
- Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)
n
- Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/ procedures and to plant and equipment to improve machine availability, quality, and safety
n




- Work with and assist outside contractors as required
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications to Trade certificate as a minimum
n
- Experience in trouble shooting and fault finding
n
- Ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure
n
- Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach
n
- A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training and work on other shifts as required
n
- Food industry experience would be an advantage
n
- Steam System, confined space, EWP and TIG experience would be an advantage
n
