About the role:

Reporting to the Head of ICT, the Infrastructure and Security Lead is responsible for the day-to-day management, security and performance of SwanCare's technology environment.

This hands-on role oversees core infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud services, identity management and cyber security platforms, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and available to support business operations. You will take ownership of maintaining and improving our ICT environment, lead technical initiatives and provide expert support across infrastructure and security-related matters.

Working as part of a small and collaborative ICT team, you'll play a key role in strengthening SwanCare’s cyber security, managing technology risks and striving for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain SwanCare's core infrastructure, cloud services, networks and security platforms.
- Monitor system performance, availability and security, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted ICT services.
- Lead the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, security improvements and technology enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure, network and cyber security issues.
- Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes across the organisation.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver secure, effective technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, strengthen security and reduce operational risk.

Key Role Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in an Infrastructure, Systems Administration, Network Administration or Cyber Security role within a complex ICT environment.




- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and cloud-based services.
- Experience managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, networks, backup solutions, virtualisation platforms and endpoint management.
- Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining reliable and secure ICT services.
- Sound understanding of cyber security principles, risk management practices and security frameworks such as the ACSC Essential Eight.
- Experience implementing infrastructure upgrades, technology improvements and security initiatives within a business environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and provide technical guidance to both technical and non-technical users.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- National Police Clearance.

Desirable:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience working within aged care, healthcare, community services or other regulated industries.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, PowerShell or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience mentoring team members or providing technical leadership within an ICT team.
