Role Description The Instructor Facilitator is a part-time, on-site role based at Brenda Park, SA. This position focuses on guiding students through structured learning and outdoor education programs that support personal development, teamwork, and leadership. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering engaging instructional sessions, supervising students in a safe and supportive manner, and facilitating group activities that align with the College’s values.

The Instructor

Facilitator will collaborate with teaching staff to ensure programs support curriculum outcomes and wellbeing goals, maintain accurate records,



and uphold all College policies and risk management procedures. The role also involves contributing to a positive camp and residential environment, modeling appropriate behavior, and communicating effectively with colleagues and students.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in instruction or facilitation in educational, outdoor, or youth development settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate school-aged students.
- Proven ability to create a protected, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that supports diverse needs.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, including planning sessions and managing group activities.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and follow established policies and procedures.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, outdoor education, youth work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Current certifications appropriate for school environments (such as first aid, child-safety clearances, and working with children checks, as required by local regulations).
