Internal Auditor – Stock take & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for someone to join our finance team as an internal auditor. Reporting to the CFO, you will visit our dealerships to check that vehicle stock, parts stock and sales paperwork match what is in our systems, and report back on anything that does not add up.

This is a hands-on role. You will be out in the yards and parts departments, not just at a desk. It is a great way to learn how a large dealership group runs while you finish your degree.

What you will do

- Count new, used and demonstrator vehicles at each dealership and match them to our stock records and finance company statements




- Check vehicle details – VIN, registration, keys and location – and follow up any that do not match
- Count parts and accessories stock and match it to the parts system
- Review vehicle sales contracts and deal files to make sure all documents, approvals and charges are complete and correct
- Write simple, clear reports on what you found and what needs fixing
- Help the finance team with other checks and tasks as needed

What we are looking for

- Current NSW driver's licence (essential – you will drive between our sites and may need to move vehicles in the yard)
- Comfortable with Excel and quick to pick up new systems
- Careful, organised and good with detail
- Honest and reliable – you will be trusted with confidential information
- Happy to start early for stocktakes when needed
- Eligible to work in Australia

No audit or automotive experience needed – we will train you.
