We're looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our team and help keep Yo-Chi connected, informed and moving in the same direction.

This role sits at the heart of our business, connecting our Support Teams, Operations and venues. You’ll turn big ideas, business changes and new initiatives into communication that’s clear, engaging and actually lands across the business.

From launching a new business initiative, to making sure our venues have everything they need to roll out a change, you'll play a hands-on role in turning business priorities into clear communication, practical action and successful implementation across Yo-Chi.

Working closely with the Business Operations Manager and with stakeholders from all departments with our support team, you'll have a big role in how we communicate and bring ideas to life across the business.

What You'll Do

- Own the delivery of Yo-Chi's internal communications, making sure important updates are clear, engaging and easy to action
- Develop communication plans for new initiatives, campaigns, projects and business priorities
- Manage our internal communication calendar, workflows and channels
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Training, People & Culture, Supply Chain and Support Teams to bring key messages together




- Support the Business Operations Manager to coordinate cross-functional projects from planning through to implementation
- Keep project timelines, actions, milestones and stakeholders on track
- Help make sure new initiatives are practical, venue ready and rolled out consistently across the business
- Support change and implementation activities, helping teams understand what's changing, why it matters and what they need to do
- Gather feedback and insights to understand what's working and find ways to improve how we communicate with our team
- Be the go to person helping connect the dots between teams and keep things moving

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in internal communications, project coordination, operations or a similar role
- A strong operator and communicator who can take complex information and turn it into something clear, engaging and easy to understand
- Highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders
- A natural communicator who enjoys working across different teams and bringing people together
- Strong writing skills and an eye for tone, detail and consistency
- Confident coordinating projects, timelines, actions and stakeholders
- Creative and willing to find new ways to engage our teams
- Proactive, curious and someone who naturally spots opportunities to make things better
- Comfortable working in a fast moving, growing business where priorities can change

The role The role is based primarily from our Hawthorn office, with plenty of interaction across our Support Teams and venues. You'll work closely with teams across the business and may occasionally need to travel interstate for projects, venue openings and team initiatives. Our Hawthorn office comes complete with an in office chef (free breakfast & lunch daily!), free parking, an on site gym and a dog friendly workspace.
