About the role The Organisation is seeking a detail-oriented Investment Operations Coordinator to support the smooth running of our investment function. This role sits at the intersection of governance, reporting and donor communication - ensuring the Investment Committee, investment partners, fund managers and Shariah Advisor are well-coordinated, and that donors receive timely, accurate reporting on fund performance.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare board and committee papers, performance packs and briefing materials ahead of Investment Committee meetings
- Take minutes, track action items and follow up on outstanding decisions
- Act as the coordination point between fund managers, the Investment Committee and the Shariah Advisor
- Schedule reviews, circulate documentation, and ensure Shariah compliance sign-off is obtained on relevant investment decisions
- Prepare monthly investment performance analyses across the fund portfolio
- Monitor fund manager performance against benchmarks and flag material variances
- Calculate and issue quarterly unit pricing for all donors
- Maintain accurate records of unit holdings and valuations, ensuring consistency with fund manager statements
- Produce quarterly investment reports for donors, the Board and internal stakeholders
- Ensure reports are clear, accurate and appropriately reviewed prior to distribution

Additional responsibilities

- Maintain the investment policy statement, risk register and compliance calendar (meeting dates, filing deadlines, reporting cycles)




- Support annual audit processes with investment-related documentation and reconciliations
- Assist with due diligence on prospective fund managers and new investment opportunities
- Maintain an up-to-date record of Shariah Advisor rulings/approvals relevant to investment decisions
- Support ad hoc analysis for the Executive Director and Board on request

About you

- Experience in investment operations, fund administration, or financial reporting (funds management, superannuation or wealth management background highly regarded)
- Strong Excel/analytical skills; comfort working with fund manager statements and unit pricing calculations
- High attention to detail and comfort working with confidential financial information
- Excellent written communication skills for donor- and board-facing reporting
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part time capacity, coordinating across multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Islamic finance and Sharia-compliant investment principles
- Familiarity with the waqf/endowment sector or not-for-profit governance is a plus
