Jewellery Making Teacher at Sydney Pottery Studio

Sydney Pottery Studio is looking for a passionate and experienced Jewellery Making Teacher to join our creative studio team.

We run hands-on jewellery-making classes where students create their own pieces in a relaxed, social workplace. Our classes currently include Signet Ring Making and Mitsuro Hikime Wax.

This is a casual, flexible teaching position, with hours based on class bookings. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong jewellery-making skills and can confidently guide students through the making process.

As a Jewellery Making Teacher, you will:

- Teach hands-on Signet Ring Making classes
- Teach Mitsuro Wax Carving classes
- Demonstrate jewellery-making techniques and guide students through each stage of the process
- Help students troubleshoot and problem-solve while making their pieces
- Create a fun,



welcoming and encouraging studio environment
- Ensure students understand and safely use tools and equipment
- Assist with basic studio preparation and pack-down
- Help students feel confident, even if they have no previous jewellery-making experience

Hours & Flexibility This is a casual, booking-based position.
- Minimum commitment of approximately 3 hours per week, depending on bookings
- Hours will vary according to class demand
- Classes are scheduled based on bookings, making this a particularly flexible role
- Ideal for a jeweller, artist, maker or creative professional looking for additional flexible work

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
