As a Junior Account Manager, you'll assist in managing a portfolio of commercial customers and become an important link between our clients, office and field teams. This role involves working closely with management, technicians and commercial clients to ensure customers receive great service and their accounts and jobs are managed from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients
- Managing customer accounts and day-to-day enquiries
- Following jobs from initial request through to completion and invoicing
- Communicating with customers regarding job progress and requirements
- Preparing and following up quotes
- Coordinating purchase orders and variations
- Reviewing completed jobs to ensure they are accurately invoiced
- Following up outstanding invoices and account queries
- Liaising with technicians, suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintaining accurate customer and job information

- Confident dealing with customers and businesses
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple jobs at once
- A strong communicator
- Proactive and not afraid to pick up the phone and follow things up
- Good with numbers and attention to detail
- Professional and well presented
- Comfortable using computers and learning recent software
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Keen to learn and develop their career in account management
- Previous experience in account management, customer service, administration, bookkeeping or the trades industry would be an advantage
