Position description

We are looking for a Junior Forward Deployed Engineer who will complete defined software engineering tasks within a larger client project with support from more senior engineers. The position implements assigned application features and fixes, tests product behaviour, participates in pull-request review, responds to review feedback and reports progress and blockers to the engagement team.

The includes but not limited to:

- Implement assigned product features and changes

- Investigate and fix defects

- Product test changes and report findings





- Participate in pull request review and respond to feedback

- Review user reported issues and record work items

- Investigate implementation options

- Report progress and participate in team discussions

What we're looking for
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a similar role at other startups or software companies under your belt.

- High proficiency in full-stack engineering with Next.js / TypeScript and/or Python.

- You are curious about how things work and have innate ability to problem solve – this is crucial as you won't always have the information you need to move forward.

- Robust client-facing communication.

- Based in Australia.
