Next Commercial is a specialist commercial property company with combined local, national and international property experience, providing property sales, acquisitions, investment and management services across metropolitan, country and regional markets.

We are looking for a motivated university student who wants genuine hands-on exposure to property development, development feasibility and commercial property transactions within a small, experienced and highly involved team.

This is a casual role, typically 1–2 days per week, making it ideal for a university student looking to gain practical industry experience alongside their studies.

The opportunity is particularly suited to someone currently completing a Bachelor of Property, Business, Finance, Commerce or a related degree who wants to build genuine commercial property experience before graduating.

Unlike a traditional internship focused primarily on administrative work, this role provides direct exposure to the commercial property and development process from the ground up.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Work on development feasibilities using ARGUS EstateMaster, gaining practical experience assessing development costs, revenues, project timing, returns and overall project viability.
- Assist with property and development appraisals, market research, comparable sales analysis and site investigations.
- Help prepare Information Memorandums, Expressions of Interest material, feasibility reports, marketing material and client presentations for development and investment opportunities.
- Gain exposure to live development sites and projects, including residential subdivisions, townhouse developments, mixed-use projects and larger-scale development opportunities.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with developers, landowners, vendors, investors, surveyors,



planners and other consultants involved in the development and transaction process.
- Gain exposure to the sales and marketing process behind commercial property transactions, including how assets are positioned, marketed and presented to institutional and private investors.
- Work directly alongside a Director and a small, highly experienced property team, providing the opportunity to learn from professionals with decades of experience across Australian and international property markets.

- Proactive, reliable and willing to get involved across different areas of the business
