We are seeking a highly motivated and talented university graduate to join our dynamic contracting business as a Junior Project Engineer. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Management team in the execution of concept projects, design phases, installations, and completion tasks within the fields of Telecommunications, Data Centre, Engineering, and Electrical industries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and advance within the company while gaining valuable experience in project management, technical coordination, administrative tasks and extended inside knowledge of business operations.

Your role:

- Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to assist in the conversion of concept projects into actionable plans via formalised methods, documented processes and strategic actions.
- Provide administrative support throughout the design, installation, and completion phases of projects.
- Maintain effective communication channels between project stakeholders (including clients, internal project management team and technical install team, ensuring effective flow of information.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.




- Contribute to project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and project schedules.
- Participate in project meetings, contributing insights and capturing action items.
- Develop intermediate-level skills in Excel and Microsoft Office to facilitate project data management and reporting.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of project management processes, industry standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in navigating change and ambiguity.
- Foster a proactive and can-do attitude in approaching tasks and challenges.

About you:

- Completed or about to complete a locally acquired degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering Degree.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation
- Practical with can-do attitude
- Desire to learn and progress
- Flexible approach, and adaptable to change and dealing with ambiguity
- Intermediate to advanced skills in using excel and Microsoft office
- Working close with Project Management team on turning concept projects through the design phase and works also include assisting with the installation and completion tasks from an administrative perspective.
