Junior Tennis Coach:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Tennis Coach to run beginner tennis sessions for primary school-aged children.

The role involves teaching basic tennis skills in a fun, safe and engaging environment. Sessions are aimed at beginners, so we are looking for someone who is patient, confident working with children and able to keep kids engaged and involved.

Hours:

- Mondays during public school terms
- 5:30pm–6:30pm tennis coaching
- Chance to start from ~ 2:00pm and assist with general labour before coaching – preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

- Run beginner-level tennis sessions for primary school-aged children
- Teach basic skills including forehands, backhands, serving, movement




- Organise age-appropriate drills, activities and games
- Set up and pack away tennis equipment (provided)

What we're looking for

- A solid tennis background with good knowledge of fundamental tennis skills and technique
- Previous tennis playing, competition or coaching experience
- Confident and comfortable working with children
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to Monday sessions during school terms

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 – 4.5 per week
