We make plant based, gluten free slices, cakes and protein balls that are shipped across Australia. Our kitchen is busy and hands on, and we take pride in working well together and keeping it clean and organised.

THE ROLE:

Your day could include

- Operating our protein ball machine
- Slicing brownies and dessert slabs
- Assembling, packing and labelling products
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Washing trays and dishes using our commercial dishwasher
- Setting up, packing down and end of day cleaning
- Lifting ingredient boxes and dessert slabs weighing 14 to 25 kg

THE DAY: We start at 7am, with a 15 minute morning break and a half hour lunch break around midday. We finish at 3:30pm and only operate Monday to Friday. You’ll be working in a new, modern production kitchen that’s clean, comfortable and well organised.

The Plant Bakery has been operating for ten years and has grown into a busy wholesale production kitchen. We work efficiently, maintain high standards and treat each other with kindness and respect.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

You’ll need at least two years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, café, restaurant or food manufacturing environment, along with positive food hygiene practices and the ability to safely manage the lifting involved in the role.





We’re looking for someone reliable who works efficiently, has a good attitude and takes direction well.

HOURS & PAY:

$34 per hour | Casual | 5 shifts per week (if you are available less, we are also hiring for a 2 to 3 day role)
