Melrose is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team for approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.

This is a hands-on role supporting our chefs and keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly during service.

The role includes:

- Dishwashing and maintaining the dish area
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, benches and floors
- Keeping the kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and organised
- Taking out rubbish and maintaining waste areas
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Putting away deliveries and stock
- Supporting chefs with general kitchen duties
- Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures

We're looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Works quickly and efficiently during busy service




- Is comfortable with physical work and cleaning
- Has positive attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Works well as part of a team
- Is available Friday and Saturday evenings and Sundays, with additional shifts during the week

Previous kitchen-hand experience is preferred but not essential for the right person. Hours: Approximately 20- 25 hours per week
