Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited, multi-disciplinary day hospital with four operating theatres, delivering a diverse range of surgical services. Our modern facility includes a recovery ward for extended stays. We are known for our supportive culture, strong clinical standards and genuine commitment to work life balance. The hospital operates Monday to Friday only.

About the opportunity

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our ward nursing team on a casual basis. We are particularly interested in nurses who are available to work night shifts.

n

This is a strong opportunity for early to mid-career nurses looking to build their experience in a supportive clinical environment.

About the role

n

You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ward, supporting recovery following day surgery procedures. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient and patient-focused care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering safe and effective patient care in the ward environment
n
- Monitoring patient progress and responding to clinical needs
n
- Supporting discharge planning and patient education
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
n
- Working collaboratively within the care team
n

- Flexibility to undertake occasional night shifts

Requirements

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum one to two years of clinical experience
n
- Ophthalmology experience desirable, not essential
n
- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
