About the role You'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an important role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly each day.



Key responsibilities Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism Managing appointments and clinician diaries Answering phone and email enquiries Processing patient payments and private billing Medicare claiming and EFTPOS transactions Maintaining accurate patient records Managing recalls and reminders Supporting doctors, nurses and the Practice Manager Scanning, filing and general administration About you You have a fun, positive and get stuff done attitude! Previous experience in a medical reception role (General Practice preferred) Experience using Best Practice or similar medical software (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A professional, friendly and compassionate manner Strong organisational and time management skills High attention to detail Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment A positive attitude and willingness to support your team A commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
