This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced Specialist Anaesthetists seeking to join a modern regional referral hospital committed to clinical excellence, education and patient‐centred care.

The Role As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will provide high‐quality anaesthetic and perioperative care across a broad range of surgical specialties while working within an experienced multidisciplinary team.

n

You will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence‐based care while contributing to education, departmental development and clinical governance.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across elective and emergency surgery
n
- Providing perioperative assessment and optimisation of patients
n
- Supporting theatre efficiency and perioperative planning
n
- Participating in the on‐call roster
n
- Supervising Anaesthetic Registrars, Junior Medical Officers and medical students
n
- Contributing to multidisciplinary perioperative care
n
- Participating in quality improvement, clinical governance and service development initiatives
n
- Supporting teaching, education and continuing professional development within the department
n

- Fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA); or
n
- Overseas-trained Specialist Anaesthetists who have been assessed by ANZCA and require Workplace-Based Assessment (WBA) only to achieve Fellowship.

Candidates who still require the ANZCA SIMG Viva Examination are not currently eligible for these positions.
