Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader - Early Learning on Bribie

We are seeking a passionate, capable and motivated Nominated Supervisor to support our team, strengthen quality practice and contribute to a positive environment for our children, families and educators.

Our service has an established culture of quality, strong practice and continuous improvement. We are looking for an experienced educator and leader who is confident supporting day-to-day operations while working collaboratively with the management team and educators.

This is a full-time leadership chance suited to an experienced Nominated Supervisor, 2IC, Room Leader or senior educator who is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.

About the Role

n

As Nominated Supervisor, you will play an significant role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the service and providing leadership and guidance to educators.

n

You will work closely with the Centre Director and management team to support quality, compliance, staffing and family engagement while helping to foster a positive, supportive and accountable team culture.

n

Importantly, you won't be doing it alone. You will be supported by an established leadership and management structure and will have the chance to further develop your leadership skills and experience.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Act as Nominated Supervisor and Responsible Person as required
n
- Provide positive and professional leadership to educators
n
- Support the service with the day-to-day operation of the service
n
- Support a positive,



collaborative and accountable team culture
n
- Assist with daily staffing, rostering and operational requirements
n
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
n
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and Assessment & Rating readiness
n
- Support educators to strengthen their practice and professional development
n
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families
n
- Assist with maintaining accurate service records and documentation
n
- Support the implementation of service policies, procedures and practices
n
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, engaging and child-focused learning environment
n
- Promote and embed a strong culture of child safety across the service
n
- Provide leadership and guidance in the absence of the Centre Director
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is confident stepping into a leadership position while remaining approachable, supportive and willing to work alongside their team.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
n
- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor, 2IC, Room Leader or senior educator
n
- Strong knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
n




- A genuine passion for supporting educators and quality early childhood practice
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
- Confidence managing competing priorities within an early childhood environment
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- The ability to provide guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to educators
n
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
n
