We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL), In-Home Care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation (STA), Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.

About the Role We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting a client in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Loganholme.

n

The role involves providing person-centered support to assist the client with daily living activities, personal care, and maintaining independence in a safe and respectful setting.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene, grooming, and daily living tasks
n
- Support the client with manual handling and hoist transfers safely
n
- Assist with CPAP setup and monitoring during sleep or rest periods if required
n
- Assist with mobility and transfers following safe manual handling procedures
n
- Support the client with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
n




- Encourage independence, participation, and community engagement
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow individual care plans
n
- Ensure the client's safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Manual handling and hoist experience
n
- Experience supporting clients who use CPAP machines (or willingness to learn)
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
- Valid Driver's Licence
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n

Desirable

n

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field
n
- Previous experience working in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment
n
