Casual Relief Teacher – Position Overview Casual Relief Teachers provide high quality learning continuity across Foundation to Year 6, bringing flexibility, strong classroom practice and a positive presence to our community.

What You’ll Do

Deliver prepared lessons across Prep– Year 6, or adapt teaching and learning as needed

Support student learning and maintain calm, positive classroom environments

Follow school routines and uphold child safe practices

Collaborate with staff and contribute to our caring school culture

Provide care, supervision and support aligned with our Catholic ethos (all faith backgrounds welcome)

What We’re Looking For

Current VIT registration

Bachelor of Education or equivalent

Adaptability across year levels and subjects

Strong communication skills

Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive practice

Key Selection Criteria

Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;

Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);

A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;

Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;

Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom setting;

Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
