Prime Contracting and Hire (PCHWA) is a busy Wanneroo-based earthworks and civil construction company servicing residential builders across the Perth metro area. We're looking for a General Labourer to join our field team.
The role:
Working alongside our operators on residential building sites doing site cleans, grano preps, paving preps, compacting and general earthworks support.
What you'll be doing:
- Site cleans and rubbish removal
- Shovel work
- Labouring on paving prep and grano prep jobs
- Operating a plate/pushing compactor on site
- Site set-up and pack-down
- Keeping work areas and equipment clean and safe
- Following site safety procedures
What we're looking for:
- Physically fit,
reliable and punctual
- Current driver's licence
- White Card
- Positive team player with a strong work ethic
- Previous labouring/construction experience a plus, not essential
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, interest in working the occasional Saturday is a plus
